Mesotherapy has helped many achieve their individual goals of reducing Cellulite and fat and it may work well for you, but remember, Mesotherapy is a medical treatment

Critical Message

Dear prospective Mesotherapy clients:

We at Aesthetic Alternatives, the Meso-Spa, have received many phone calls from around the world. These calls were from people who were treated elsewhere and are concerned that the Mesotherapy treatment that they received was done improperly.

These phone call concern us deeply. It indicates these patients do not have faith in the person who treated them. I find this discouraging. These unscrupulous, poorly trained Mesotherapy practitioners are causing undue injury to patients. When asked, these practitioners apparently either do not care or they do not have the knowledge to satisfy their patients questions and concerns. In an effort to promote the safe and ethical practice of Mesotherapy, I offer to you a list of basic questions, which should stimulate additional questions to be asked. Ask these questions to the Mesotherapy practitioner before you agree to let him or her treat you.

Mesotherapy has helped many achieve their individual goals of reducing Cellulite and Fat and it may work well for you. But please remember, Mesotherapy is a medical treatment, it can cause severe harm if not performed properly. Mesotherapy can improve your looks; it should not endanger your life.

Sincerely;
R. Pitera M.D.

Questions to ask:

  1. If I come to your office, who is actually going to treat me? A Doctor, A Nurse, Staff?
  2. Will I be treated by the same individual each time that I come in for treatment?
  3. How many years have you been practicing Mesotherapy?
  4. What can you do to make the treatment painless?
  5. If I am unfortunate and have severe swelling, what can you do about it?
  6. Are you Board Certified in Mesotherapy?
  7. Will you provide me with a list of former patients that I can contact?
  8. The price you quoted me over the phone, will you stick to this price within reason or is this a come-on?
  9. Are there any hidden fees?

Questions to ask yourself before deciding:

  1. Is the price quoted too good to be true?
  2. If their fee is very low, where they are getting their medications?
  3. Am I comfortable with the Dr. (if it is a doctor) and the staff?
  4. Does the person treating me have the skill and experience to treat me safely and successfully?
  5. Is the doctor a recognized leader in the field and are they respected by their peers?
